AM I A CANDIDATE FOR LASIK SURGERY?
Most people currently wearing glasses or contacts are great candidates for one of the procedures we offer. Whether you are nearsighted, farsighted, or astigmatism, the likelihood is incredibly high that you are a candidate for laser vision correction. MYTH: MY EYE DOCTOR TOLD ME I’M NOT A CANDIDATE FOR LASIK.
That’s why we offer a complimentary consultation. Come in and let us utilize today’s advanced technology to make the decision. Determining candidacy is a very specific process. A routine exam for glasses or contacts is not enough to tell someone whether laser vision correction is an option for them.
MYTH: LASIK WON’T WORK FOR ME BECAUSE I HAVE ASTIGMATISM.
It’s a dreaded word in the world of glasses and contacts. Despite what you may have been told, laser vision correction can successfully treat significant amounts of astigmatism. The majority of our patients treated at the Eisner Laser Center have some degree of astigmatism.
MYTH: I HAD A CONSULTATION PREVIOUSLY AND WAS TOLD I WAS NOT A CANDIDATE.
That may still be the case. However, technology has changed dramatically over the years. These advancements have made laser vision correction a reality for some who have been previously told they were not a candidate. It’s worth 30 minutes of your time to re-evaluate in a free consultation.
